In this image the object which is Cristian is close to the camera. He is sitting down in a fire hydrant looking at the camera. There is some buildings in the back and a little bit of leaves of a tree on the top, you can see everything so it makes it a figurative work.
The shapes I see here are a lot of squares and rectangles shaped from the building, doors, windows and the sidewalk. The tone from the top of the picture is dark and to the bottom it turns light. He was in focus and the background is not in focus, this was done intentionally because it was depth of field.
The image is both dark and light showing that his emotions change when he is sitting there pensive. This was taken outdoors.
I was nervous at first I was not going to have any good pictures but some came out pretty good. I think I was pretty successful in completing this assignment.

What I see in this picture is part of a tree and its branches that is focused and the person is blurred. The tree is very close and the person is far away. To me the picture is figurative but at the same time Cristian is so blurred that he looks almost like an abstract figure.
The shapes I see are many are many squares and triangles created from the tree branches. There is some tones were the darkest is the tree, then the middle is mostly a lot of shades of gray and the sky is the lightest were its just white. The image is partly in focus; one thing is and the other is blurred. This was done intentionally because our assignment was depth of field.
The image has more lighter shades than darker shades. This was taken outdoors.
When we were doing this assignment I really did not think I was doing it right. When I would take a picture I was afraid that I was just wasting my shots, but at the end it came out pretty good. I accomplished what the assignment was.
